HAND-DRAWN SCARF DESIGN

This is a silk scarf to commemorate the postponed 2020 Olympics and honor resilient Olympians and frontline healthcare workers. Thomas Bach, the president of the International Olympic Committee, told COVID workers “you are our true champions.” This design symbolizes Olympic athletes “handing the torch” to these healthcare workers, who will carry it until 2021. Narrative and highly symbolic, it is titled “Until We Meet in Tokyo” to honor a year of resilience, sacrifice, and unity.
